Key Responsibilities: · Collaborate with community-based coalitions to develop and implement substance use prevention strategies. · Provide technical assistance and training resources to enhance coalition capabilities. · Develop comprehensive community and coalition needs assessments. · Create and update strategic work plans to address local prevention priorities. · Coordinate and participate in prevention-focused training and resource networks. · Prepare and submit detailed monthly progress, billing, and data reports. · Support and participate in community education campaigns and prevention initiatives.

Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications: · Master's Degree in social work, counseling, public health, education, psychology, community development, public administration, or a closely related field

OR · Bachelor's Degree in the above fields with at least one (1) year professional experience in a social service agency

OR · Associate's Degree with at least two (2) years of professional experience in a social service agency · Must obtain Missouri Substance Abuse Prevention Associate (MSAPA) credential within six (6) months of hire · Must attend Substance Abuse Prevention Specialist Training (SAPST) within nine (9) months of hire

Additional Qualifications: · Valid driver's license · Acceptable driving record · Current auto insurance · Must pass background check including criminal record, driving record, and fingerprint check

Physical Requirements: · Sedentary work involving occasional lifting up to 10 pounds · Ability to sit for extended periods · Capable of typing and writing during work shift · Occasional walking and standing required
