**Job Purpose and Impact**
The Pricefx Solution Architect will provide best practice solutions to architect, design and develop new and existing Pricefx solutions for the organization's commercial ecosystem. In this role, you will discover and deliver innovative solutions to complex and varied problems to enable the company's go-to-market strategy through pricing technology expansion. You will bring clarity to ambiguous scenarios and apply specialized, in depth, and broad knowledge of Pricefx architectural, engineering and security practices to ensure your solutions are scalable, resilient, and robust and will share knowledge on modern best practices and technologies to the shared engineering community.
**Key Accountabilities**
+ Solution Architecture and Design for Pricefx Projects
+ Design scalable, flexible, and maintainable pricing solutions.
+ Define solution design methodology; Create and maintain solution design documentation.
+ Define and design integrations and workflows that involve Pricefx and other enterprise systems like SAP or Salesforce.
+ Be the bridge between business and technical teams
+ Ability to interact with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements, communicate design decisions, and provide recommendations.
+ Ensure alignment between business goals and technical implementation.
+ Actively participate in delivery activities to ensure implementation aligns with solution design.
+ Technical product and platform management
+ Incorporate the company's engineering and development best practices within the full software development lifecycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, building processes, testing and security principles, to deliver high quality code rapidly.
+ Own Pricefx Release Management strategy, ensuring platform release quality and frequency meet requirements (i.e., N-1).
+ Conduit between business/delivery and product and understand Pricefx product feature roadmap.
+ Lead demonstration and continuous feedback sessions with technical teams to improve development and help drive the long-term vision.
+ Build innovation in the engineering community by maintaining and sharing relevant technical approaches and modern skills.
+ Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

**Qualifications**
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
+ Minimum of four years of related work experience
+ Experience in a consultative solution architecture capacity, advising and leading teams on best practices for software implementations
+ Demonstrated delivery of commercial technology (e.g., Salesforce, pricing, portals) and understanding of common patterns
+ Understanding of SaaS (Software as a Service) and cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
+ Experience with groovy scripting (which is extensively used in Pricefx for customization) and JavaScript and HTML for user interface customization within Pricefx
+ Demonstrated delivery of solutions integrated with complex enterprise systems (SAP/ERP, Salesforce/CRM, e-commerce platforms) via RESTful APIs
+ Ability to travel globally up to 10%
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Direct experience with Pricefx platform or similar capabilities such as PROS, Salesforce, etc.
+ Experience with SQL for data modeling, manipulation and extraction within the platform

**Additional Position Information**
This position is open to a hybrid work arrangement in Atlanta, GA or Wayzata, MN.
