Pricing Actuarial Analyst Mid - Senior

As a pricing actuarial analyst on the Recreational Lines Pricing team, you'll research actuarial techniques to recommend and implement appropriate changes to ensure rate adequacy. Taking data to decisions, you'll also analyze, test, and assess the viability of new or revised actuarial techniques used in resolving appropriate price levels for state(s). You'll be expected to pursue Associate of Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) designation by sitting for additional exams.

Must-have qualifications

A minimum of 4 years of analytical work experience.{OR} Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of 3 years of analytical work experience.{OR} Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field of study and a minimum of 1 year analytical work experience.Minimum of 3 passed actuarial exams recognized by the Casualty Actuarial Society

Preferred skills

Strong proficiency analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and making recommendationsIntermediate to advanced skills in Excel including v-look-up, pivot tables, charts, and graphsIntermediate to advanced coding skills (PowerPivot, VBA, SAS, SQL, R, or Tableau)Experience conducting ad-hoc analyses using data analysis tools and balancing projects effectivelyExcellent communication skills including visualization of quantitative information for non-technical audiences

Compensation

$70,100 - $124,300/year depending on position levelGainshare bonus up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance.
