Ibotta is seeking a Pricing Analyst - Deal Desk to join our innovative team and contribute to our mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding.
The Pricing Analyst- Deal Desk plays a crucial role in driving revenue growth and sales efficiency of Ibotta’s Revenue team by streamlining the deal process, optimizing deal structures, and facilitating cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the strategic direction, implementing & optimizing processes and tools for scale and efficiency, and enabling a culture of accountability and excellence. You will partner with sales, finance, accounting, legal, marketing, & operations to build productive relationships and ensure mutually beneficial outcomes for Ibotta and our clients.This position requires a strong understanding of B2B sales, contract negotiation, pricing strategies, and the ability to navigate complex deals while ensuring compliance and profitability.
This position is located in Denver, Colorado as a hybrid position requiring 3 days in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Candidates must live in the United States.
What you will be doing:
Serve as a trusted advisor to sales, consulting on deal structure, pricing, discounts and business terms. Ensure deals are profitable and align with company policies, legal requirements, and revenue recognition guidelines
Collaborate with cross functional teams to structure competitive and profitable deals, being proactive and leading from the front, determining how to get to “yes” and a win-win for the company as well as our prospects and clients with the ability to think strategically and outside of the box
Serve as the key liaison between Pricing and internal and external teams to lead implementation and enhancement of new and existing tools such as CPQ
Conduct product, customer, competitive, and financial research to develop insights and drive packaging and pricing recommendations to execution
Provide financial modeling and analysis as needed to support pricing, discount, and revenue decisions.
Analyze data to support the development, and implementation of pricing strategies to maximize profit and propel growth
Identify performance trends and provide recommendations for improvement
Validate sales estimates for accuracy and profitability

What we are looking for:
3+ years experience in a Pricing Deal Desk role, or equivalent sales experience with strategic account/pricing negotiations
Experience in Performance Marketing, CPG, Retail, or a related industry experience is a plus
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Data Science or Economics preferred
Knowledge about the industry including competitors and market trends
Excellent analytical and research skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good negotiation and problem-solving skills
Effective reporting and presentation skills
Comfortable working through ambiguity and imperfect data
Skilled in Pricing modeling and analysis, market analysis, and business analysis
Technical skills: Analytical thinking and Advanced Microsoft Suite Products skills
Experience working with Salesforce.com preferred

This position is located in Denver, CO and includes competitive pay, flexible time off, benefits package (including medical, dental, vision), Lifestyle Spending Account, Employee Stock Purchase Program, and 401k match. Denver office perks include paid parking, bagel Thursdays, snacks and occasional meals.
Base compensation range: $74,000-$85,000. Equity is included in overall compensation package. This compensation range is specific to the United States labor market and may be adjusted based on actual experience.
