Introduction
We are now looking for a Pricing Analyst to join our Global Pricing and Analytics team! In this position, you support the team and our stakeholders in applying pricing strategies into practice as the main Analytics responsible of our team. You are responsible for developing and maintaining reporting solutions in Power BI and Excel enabling transparency and insights for data-driven commercial decision-making. In addition, you have an important role in keeping up to date with development in the AI domain, assessing opportunities and driving utilization of AI and automation in pricing-related analytics and processes. In this position, you will report to Senior Manager, Pricing Development.
The preferred location for this position is Espoo, but other Metso locations in Finland can be considered. We are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options.
Team you belong to
The Global Pricing and Analytics team is responsible for providing information and analytics related to sales, prices and customers for Aftermarket globally in matrix. We facilitate pricing discussions and information flow between product lines and market areas and govern list prices and pricing processes both for regional pricing and distribution network. We get to work with many different stakeholders globally. This position offers you an excellent opportunity with world class B2B pricing management in a truly global industrial setting, working with and learning from experts in various fields and across multiple continents.
What you do
Create, maintain and develop commercial data reports based on business changes and needs in the scope and width of the Global Pricing and Analytics domain Oversee reports, apps, roles and accesses Coordinate and produce analytical content for pricing-related internal communication Identify opportunities to harness AI and automation in pricing-related analytics and processes Business case or scenario work when required Other ad-hoc support required by the global pricing team and pricing partners
Who you are
Strong data analytics skills combined with business acumen Experience in making analytics meaningful and useful for commercial decision-making Fluency in written and verbal English Advanced skills in Excel and previous experience in Power BI development Proficiency in Python, SQL, or R programming languages Genuine interest and insight into AI utilization A degree for example in Business Analytics, or a relevant technical or commercial field A responsible, proactive and collaborative working style Knowledge of SAP is considered an asset
