POSITION OVERVIEW
The Pricing Analyst - Global Commercial COE is responsible for leading all Pricing COE activities for the McCormick US and Canada Flavor Solutions business. This includes creating pricing for new items and reviewing prices and costs for existing items and customers. This position is also responsible for providing key financially driven insights to cross functional business partners, and actively participates in both short and long-term decision-making activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage and oversee all aspects of the pricing and gross profit analysis for Commercial Business Partners in US and Canada Flavors
• Executes daily activities required to achieve financial objectives through effective pricing of McCormick’s flavor products.
• Respond to pricing and quote requests in a timely manner
• Consults with Account Managers, Commercialization teams, Procurement, Operations Finance, and Product Development regarding price requests
• Develops product/portfolio cost and pricing assumptions in accordance with Finance procedures.
• Prepares periodic customer portfolio reviews by analyzing the following information: raw material costs, commodity cost drivers, conversion costs, packaging materials, volume changes, and plant locations
• Supports business unit efforts to optimize costs
• Uses critical thinking in decision making process to draw upon professional experience, market and industry knowledge, data and intuition, then applying to make decisions
• Other ad hoc financial analysis and requests as required
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.
• Minimum of 2 years of Accounting or Financial analysis.
• Demonstrated thorough knowledge of the capabilities of transaction & reporting systems including, but not limited to TM1, SAP, Business Warehouse, Microsoft AX, Power BI, or other local systems.
• In-depth understanding of available reporting drill down capabilities, and ability to organize data in a way that adds value to analysis.
• Understands P&L analysis (revenue through gross profit) and management.
• Intermediate/Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Power Point).
• Excellent analytical, communication and organization skills.
• Excellent theoretical and practical knowledge of different financial and analytical techniques and the capability to plan own work and respect deadlines.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and management.
• Quick learner, open-minded, flexible, with the ability to communicate effectively with others.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Proven team player.
• Self-management of assigned workload – ability to plan and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Self-starter and proactive in initiating action steps.

Base Salary: $52,830 to $92,440
Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick’s Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan.
