The Opportunity

The Pricing Analyst 2 works closely with the Global Development Group (GDG), field offices, and various Departments and conducts research to support the development of budgets and budget narratives for international proposals. Supports the Pricing Team in data collection, analysis, and reporting.

Core Responsibilities

Support lead pricers in the collection of cost data for proposal budgets, collaborating with internal departments, GDG, and international project offices. Assist with the development of proposal budget narratives. Assist with preparing budget spreadsheets for submission to the client. Help develop and modify pricing tools for efficiencies and to develop more accurate proposal budgets. Develop, modify, and customize budget checklists. Assist in scheduling proposal pricing meetings and take notes for distribution Assist in maintaining accurate budget input sheets and budget templates.  Learn a variety of financial P&L metrics and nuances of different contractual pricing strategies Assist in documenting proper approvals, files and folders with pricing information.  Follow existing processes. Assist with financial analysis, competitive intelligence gathering, pricing scenarios and basic understanding of Profitability analysis and financial metrics. Other duties as assigned.

What We Value

Bachelor’s Degree + Two years of relevant experience, or Master’s Degree Experience working on USAID-funded projects or proposals. Experience managing or developing international development project budgets. Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills. Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment with different personality types. Ability to work in teams and independently. Great communicator, fluent in English (written and verbal). Ability to multitask with ease, adapting to frequently changing priorities. Familiarity with federal award regulations, in particular FAR and AIDAR.

This position offers an anticipated annual base salary range of approximately $70,000 to $90,000 and may vary by ten percent depending on candidate geographic location.  Salary offers are made based on internal equity and market analysis.
