Job Description:
The Senior Associate, Pricing Financial Analyst, is responsible for developing and evaluating product pricing in support of customer requirements. This involves analyzing past quote and sales history, market trends, evaluating competitor pricing, and working closely with various teams within the company to set prices that align with our customers' expectations and our business goals. The analyst plays a key role in maintaining the balance between profitability and customer satisfaction through careful financial analysis and strategic planning.
The Senior Associate, Program Financial Analyst, is responsible for tracking all financial aspects of program execution from program inception to completion. This includes proposal generation, baseline activities, monitoring budgets and actual cost verification, performance of estimates at completion (EAC’s), variance analysis, and forecasting. Will partner with Program Management, Operations, and Supply Chain to track KPI’s and make sound business decisions.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for the financial functions associated with the business acquisition process (Proposals) and program execution process (Program Finance).Financial business partner to Program Manager, Operations, and Supply ChainAssist in the preparation of business cases for capital, IRAD and pricing recommendationsAssist in the preparation of cashflow analysis, Performance Based Payments (PBPs) and/or milestone schedulesSource and evaluate cost data to develop sound Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for all elements of cost including Labor, Material, Other Direct Costs (ODC), etc.Preparation and presentation cost and pricing data and analysis to cross-functional peersWork with cross-functional teams to implement pricing strategiesPreparation and presentation of Program Review slides to ManagementTracking program budgets, actual cost verification, variance analysis, program metrics and KPI’sForecasting Orders, Sales, Profit, and Cashflow for program/proposalAssist with Annual Operating Plan and Joint Strategic Plan (JSP)Support internal and external auditsSupport Microsoft CRM administrationActively participate in process improvement initiativesQualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of prior related finance experience or Graduate Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related finance experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.Preferred Additional Skills:
Experience in pricing, financial analysis, or a similar role.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.Familiarity with Cognos, Costpoint and SharepointExcellent communication and presentation skills.Knowledge of L3Harris products and market preferred.#LI-onsite
