Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Pricing Analyst to join the Electrical Wiring Systems Cablofil Team in Mascoutah, IL. The Pricing Analyst will support the pricing objectives by providing information to the sales force, marketing group, pricing and finance related to pricing trends and analysis. This analysis includes pricing at the customer, item, and geographic levels as well as a breakdown across channels.
Review RMA requests to determine validity and process as needed directly to distributor customers. Facilitate approval process for sample requests and manage the inventory of product samples and components.
Provide support as needed to approve or reject sales quotations based on the product pricing matrix.
What Will You Do?
Analyze price patterns by territory, customer, product family to provide decision making information to the Regional Managers, Pricing Manager and Product Line Managers proactively and as required. Detailed analysis to improve pocket margin and profitability.Review sales quotations based on the product pricing matrix and competitive information.Collaborate with LNCA IT partners to develop and maintain a dashboard-based reporting process to communicate to the Regional Managers the price trends in their area. This includes analysis of which territories are contributing significantly to the change in price in the period. Continuously work to automate monthly pricing reports.Projects related to changes at large accounts and new accounts.Assisting in the implementation of any published price increases.Work closely with the Pricing Specialist to provide them feedback for sales representation on projects, blankets, and quotes in their regions or nationally as necessary.Assist in any new price system design, implementation, training, and documentation for all affected departments.Performs other similar and related duties as required. Education:
BS in accounting, marketing, business, statistics, or economics – preferred.Experience:
Preferred experience in customer service, finance, marketing, or economics, with demonstrated experience in statistical analysis.Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
Must be comfortable working in Excel and with a business intelligence tool such as Power BI or Tableau.Must be proficient in negotiation and influencing skills.Must be highly collaborative and able to work in a team-based environment.Must have excellent problem analysis and problem resolution skills at both a strategic and functional level. and the ability to identify trends and establish proactive corrective actions. Strong statistical analysis skills are required.Exceptional computer skills are required, including extensive knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and proficiency with various e-mail, calendaring, meeting management and related communications software.
