The Pricing Analyst will play a critical role in supporting strategic pricing initiatives across the organization, leveraging data-driven insights to enhance profitability and optimize pricing strategies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Finance, Product, and Marketing, to evaluate current pricing models, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive the implementation of new pricing strategies.
This is a dynamic and impactful role that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate will be proactive, highly organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment to deliver actionable insights.
What You'll Do:
Create regular reports and dashboards to track key pricing metrics, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to leadership. Perform detailed financial analysis to assess the impact of pricing strategies on revenue, margin, and profitability. Develop insights from complex revenue, usage, and pricing data sets. Administer and maintain the yearly price increase process with input from the pricing lead and executive leadership. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, Finance, Marketing) to implement pricing strategies and ensure alignment with business objectives. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to ensure pricing aligns with market conditions and customer value perceptions. Define and communicate operational processes related to pricing; continuously monitor and optimize processes, identifying automation and process improvement opportunities.What You'll Bring:
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related field. 2-4 years of experience in pricing analysis, financial/data analysis, or a related analytical role. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience in building financial models and creating complex reports. Experience in pricing, forecasting, or financial analysis in a B2B environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights clearly to stakeholders at all levels. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, prioritizing and managing competing demands. Comfort with pricing and financial tools (e.g., Salesforce CPQ, Tableau, or other pricing software).The expected base salary range for this position is $70,000-$85,000 annually.
Compensation may vary depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses.
