Pricing Analyst Kent, OH Full Time Corporate Office Experienced Share (https://clumber.applytojob.com/app/share/jMgE2d0Kzr) As part of the Carter Lumber Pricing Department, the Pricing Analyst is responsible for assisting in reporting and maintaining all product data within the system. Assists in providing internal product management teams with valuable data, maintaining the accuracy of cost and pricing information, and resolving product information issues. Effective communication with the field and internal departments are mandatory for the success of this position. Requirements + Must be able to work in office (this is NOT a remote position) + Experience working in the building materials industry + Excellent customer service and communication skills + Ability to interact effectively with departments throughout the corporation + Strong attention to detail, data entry skills, and problem solving abilities + Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced and multi-tasked environment + Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong focus on Excel and other spreadsheet applications Responsibilities System Support + Enters and maintains all aspects of product information in the system, including retail, cost, and vendor information changes for building materials. Works with the Purchasing Department to maintain replacement cost and product files. Generates system reporting for product management teams. Assists in researching product lines and recommending SKUs to discontinue based on market trends and demand within the building materials industry. Pricing Support + Fields, researches, and communicates store concerns regarding pricing and costing issues for lumber and building materials.  Reviews and audits replacement costs within the system. Provides support to key initiatives within the Pricing Department. Assists in the development of pricing for new corporate building materials products. Enters and maintains weekly pricing changes and customer contracts.
