Job Summary: Company: Live Nation Department: EMEA Ticketing Location: Farringdon, London Reports to: Pricing Director, EMEA Working Hours: Full time Contract Type: Permanent Role description As the Pricing Analyst - EMEA, you love to use data to solve problems, identify opportunities, and are comfortable making quick decisions under pressure. You will help with building reports, presentations, and dashboards that will enable our organisation to understand ticket pricing, inventory, and yield opportunities for touring shows. You will also play an integral part in assisting with our on-sales, working cross-functionally both internally and externally to help manage inventory throughout the full sales cycle of a tour. We are a head office function and work across 20 markets, providing essential ticketing services to our promoters to support the biggest touring artists across EMEA. Competencies / skills / knowledge / experience + Relevant pricing, business/financial analyst experience + Must have advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills + Experience of using Tableau, MS Power BI and/or any other similar business analytics tool + Pricing experience desirable – pricing products or services a plus + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and analyse data to find trends + Strong organisational skills, with clear and concise verbal and written communication skills + Previous experience of working within a dynamic business within the music, entertainment or live events industry is desirable + Knowledge and experience of tour ticketing and Ticketmaster products is extremely beneficial but not essential Desired (but not essential) + Strong academic performance + Entertainment industry experience a plus + A relevant degree could be beneficial Behaviours The following attributes determine how the role will be carried out and are required to be a success + Demonstrate confidence in communicating with a large array of stakeholders + Attention to detail + Capable of picking up new tasks quickly + Enthusiasm for data work, and the ability to visualise data What the role includes + Build presentations, gathering data from multiple sources in a timely manner + Utilising and developing large sets of ticketing data, with deep dives into historical sales data to identify pricing trends + Aid in building automated reporting and dashboards to support EMEA Ticketing Team + Work closely with Ticketmaster and Tour Ticketing Directors to ensure pricing strategies are followed closely during large on-sales + Inventory management throughout the sales cycle + Prepare ad-hoc analysis to support the team with business insights + Other duties as required Equal opportunities We are passionate and committed to our people and go beyond the rhetoric of diversity and inclusion.
