As a Senior Pricing Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the Sales organization by providing actionable insights through data analysis. Your efforts will contribute to optimizing corporate pricing performance, forecasting, and developing effective sales/negotiation strategies for value-based pricing.
This position requires a deep understanding of sales data, market trends, the Clearwater platform and business dynamics to ensure the achievement of bookings targets and overall business growth. While part of the Corporate Pricing team overall, this role in particular will be one where you work closely with the Director of Corporate Pricing to implement scalable solutions for our strategy technologically.
What you will do:
Work with multiple stakeholders within the Sales organization to understand their needs and help them drive sales.
Analyze client data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement within current client relationships and contracts.
Provide regular reports on performance (bookings, downside protection, pricing trends, etc.) to assist management in making data-driven decisions.
Actively track the developments of key clients, maintaining an updated mental snapshot of the status, to ensure you're consistently informed and can detect potential issues beforehand.
Proactively provide precise and timely information to different stakeholders to enable them to effectively navigate and optimize their client relationship processes.
Oversee and analyze the entire client universe and our pricing strategy for it. Evaluate and define relevant reporting for each program/initiative in conjunction with the Director of Corporate Pricing.
Delve deep into the client sales process to discern both the 'what' and the 'why' behind varying outcomes. Your investigations aim to understand the driving factors behind successes and challenges.
Monitor competitor activities and sales strategies to keep the sales and client servicing team informed of market trends and potential competitive threats to current clients.
Present, justify, and defend current pricing to clients using value-based principles based on analysis, peer benchmarking, and market comps.
Present and communicate business impacts to stakeholders based on your analysis.
Education & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in mathematics, business, marketing, economics, or a related field
Proficiency in Salesforce reporting, Excel, and SQL databases are a must.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present data-driven insights to varied audiences.
A solid understanding of the FinTech industry and keen business acumen, including market dynamics, sales processes, and customer behavior.
Proven experience in sales analysis, sales planning, or business analytics in the FinTech industry or a related field
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, PowerBI) to analyze complex sales data and derive actionable insights.
Certifications in Salesforce is highly preferred.

Minimum of 7 years' experience as an Analyst or similar role in ideally leading projects.
Basic coding skills and general understanding of dashboarding and scripting, preferably in SQL, VBA and Power Query.
