At Smith+Nephew we design and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living.  The primary purpose of this role is to support the Belgium and Netherlands Central Commercial team and the 3 main Business Units to enable fact-based and data-driven decision making in alignment with the governance provided by the Regional Pricing Team. The Pricing & Analytics Manager acts as a business partner to support the commercial teams to craft and negotiate profitable commercial deals. This person will subsequently supervise the profitability and success of deals and other commercial business initiatives, e.g. national level portfolio impact and sensitivity reviews for changes to (pricing) frameworks. As a Pricing & Analytics Manager, you will work closely with senior management, sales, marketing, finance, and regional pricing partners to align pricing objectives with business goals and customer needs.

What you will be doing?

Build, maintain and improve cluster-specific pricing capabilities, such as customer pricing frameworks -taking into account country reimbursement specifics-, deal pricing support, pricing intelligence, contract compliance monitoring and local product phase-inEnd to end involvement in tender and pricing proposals for strategic large deals, supporting the commercial teams throughout the processOngoing management and analysis of contracts, frameworks and commercial agreementsCollaboration with Regional Pricing team in building local capabilities and setting up a cluster-wide pricing and approval process

What will you need to be successful?

Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or a related field2+ years of experience in pricing analysis, revenue management, or a related role.Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI, etc.).Experience with pricing software and ERP/CRM systems is a plusKnowledge of Belgium and Netherlands reimbursement models for medical device industry is a plusLanguages: Fluent English, business proficiency in French or Dutch languageExcellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilitiesStrong communication and collaboration skills
