Job Description The position will be responsible for processing day to day pricing requests from Internal Partners and ensuring timely acknowledgment and quote response. Pricing activities will include understanding and utilizing all existing pricing models for products, requesting facility results, complete Bill of Materials, and 3rd party costs (if any) from Presales, Solutions Architect or Solutions Consultant

This position will work closely with PreSales, AMs, Product Management, FBA, and Contract Management Teams to assist the Sales team with quote requests and to ensure the timely delivery of standard and special pricing. The position will also liaise with other support teams to meet the required TAT in providing competitive pricing.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Ensuring compliance to all company and business policies and administering all open pricing requests and with timely quote response.

Must be able to work collaboratively and communicate across different functional teams and to coordinate the requirements, build consensus, gain commitment and deliver results timely.

Monitor, validate and acknowledge all new and renewal pricing requests from internal customers within established business processes and agreed TAT. 

Review solution design and clarify questionable items and provide pricing solutions.

Work closely with Presales, FBA, and/or Product to derive competitive end to end pricing (i.e. acquire 3rd party quotes directly or through Presales if needed in solution.

Complete solution pricing and distribute according to acceptable pricing guidelines.

Respond within agreed TAT for specific but complex requests.

Evaluate all weekly metrics and analyze all continued improvement projects and prepare reports for all requests.

Must be able to create and maintain the right sense of urgency around pricing initiatives and should be able to understand and address the challenges faced by the Pricing team. 

REQUIREMENTS:

Work Experience
•    3+ years of experience in pricing, sales operations, product management or related roles
•    Familiarity with pricing tools and systems
•    Proficient in Productivity Tools i.e spreadsheet
•    Extensive understanding in the telecom industry – exposure on the commercial and technical side of business is a plus.
•    Critical and strategic thinking skills. Understand the various forces that impact the pricing strategy.
•    Must have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to be personable yet persuasive.
•    Data driven and detail oriented. Should have strong analytical skills.

Education
•    Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science /IT, Engineering, Business Management/Administration, or similar field
