Pricing Manager Description: **Position Title:** Pricing Manager **Pay Rate** : $101,000-$134,600 (USCORE) The PL of this role may vary according to candidate skillset and experience. Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range. Variable pay may provide additional opportunities for financial awards. This job may be eligible to participate in IP’s annual incentive plan. **Category/Shift** : Salaried Full-Time **Physical Location:** Bentonville, AR or near major airport **The Job You Will Perform:** + Reports to New Business Development Manager + Assists in the development of a first-class pricing strategy and support of the 80/20 strategy. + This position is part of the Specialty Packaging & Retail Display team and serves as a liaison between sales, manufacturing, customer service, and pricing to coordinate and lead national accounts bids and financial analysis. + Financial and cost analysis is a key requirement of this position both on a by-item as well as by-customer basis. Examples may include cost savings projects, product mix shifts, and/or board grade substitutions. + Developing pricing models from scratch and presenting them to both internal and external customers. + Assisting with the development of new and improved processes such as the bid process, pricing analysis standardized reporting, IT projects, and contract/deal worksheet management. + Responsible for the review of pricing strategies and analysis of contract performance at the national, regional and local level. + Assists in the development of pricing strategies by customer and product line and is responsible for communicating strategies to the Retail Business Leadership. + Manages price exception reports, to include counseling sales force on parameters. + Gathers, collates, and disseminates competitive information and maintains current market conditions, reviews market changes and competitive pricing. + Responsible for reporting and analyzing the impact of pricing decisions on net selling prices. + Executes escalation process for pricing strategy outliers and negative trends. + Assists in ensuring price change audit completion and exceptions. + Reviews costing systerm cost breakdowns for accuracy and effective cost allocation. + Mid-tier pricing opportunity point of contact. + NA pricing opportunity assistant. + Manages local formula pricing customers (as applicable). + Prioritizes and monitors revenue leakage customer recoup. **The Skills You Will Bring:** + Bachelor’s degree in business, or equivalent work experience. + A minimum of 5 years related experience (pricing, forecasting, or reporting) of which 3 years were specifically within the paper industry + Excellent communication and negotiation skills + Strong analytical, quantitative, and qualitative analysis skills required + High proficiency with Crystal Reports, PowerBI, Consolidated Sales, HRMS, Witron and MS Excel applications. **The Benefits You Will Enjoy:** International Paper offers a benefits package that includes health, welfare and retirement plans including Medical, Dental, Life insurance, Flexible Spending Accounts, Short-term and Long-term Disability, 401(k), Company-funded retirement contributions, Paid Time Off, Education & Development (including Tuition Reimbursement), Student Loan Repayment Assistance, and Voluntary Benefits including insurance for home, auto, vision and pets. **The Career You Will Build:** Sales and Leadership training, promotional opportunities within a global company **The Impact You Will Make:** We continue to build a better future for people, the planet, and our company!
