**PRICING MANAGER-JBS FOOD CANADA, CALGARY** **Department:** Sales and Marketing **Location:** Calgary, AB **PRICING MANAGER - JBS CALGARY OFFICE** With approximately 3,300 employees, JBS Food Canada ULC (-JBS Canada-) is one of Canada's largest beef processors. Consisting of four locations-the main processing facility located in Brooks, Alberta, where approximately 4,200 head of cattle are harvested and processed daily; the Head Office and a case ready plant, both based in Calgary, Alberta; and JBS Ontario, a case ready plant located in Belleville, Ontario. The JBS Canada facility in Brooks has the capacity to produce products ranging from boxed beef primals, ground beef, beef trimmings, beef by-products and hides which are shipped across Canada and worldwide. At the multi-protein Mountain Creek Farms case-ready facility in Calgary, JBS Canada produces value-added products including marinated, portion sized, multi-pack options, kebabs and much more. JBS Ontario in Belleville produces fresh meat and seafood products for leading retailers in Canada. JBS Food Canada is seeking an experienced, ambitious and highly motivated **PRICING MANAGER** to join its dynamic team in our JBS Calgary Office. Reporting to the Director of Canada/US Sales this senior management-level position will execute pricing strategies in alignment with the US/Canada Domestic Sales goals and objectives. Specifically, the duties associated with this position include the development and implementation of a strategic pricing strategy including, but not restricted to: **RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Maintain sold position by setting and executing a daily sales plan to include sales target items and volumes. Provide pricing direction to sales team & react to bids and market conditions quickly; + Facilitate competitive bidding process among sales representatives and between customers to maximize revenue; + Analyzing/ Understanding data: Analyzing company costs, industry pricing trends, and market/benchmark prices (P&L); + Developing pricing strategies to improve sales during different periods of time and seasonality to beat the market; + Working with cross-functional teams to analyze data and develop pricing models + Product Mix Management; + Understand yields and meat breakeven; drive value in competitive advantage; + Understand and drive a critical converted & value-added mix, led by total revenue contribution; + Monitoring market pricing and adjusting prices as needed to stay competitive (daily, weekly, etc.); + Establish performance benchmarks to measure the effectiveness of pricing strategies; + Support scheduling team with production forecasting to accurately manage sales availability across frozen & fresh production; + Find creative solutions for customers and operations teams; + Drive $/head Valuation; + Develop markets, think outside of the box to drive value; + Develop and maintain appropriate reporting, i.e. market recaps, product availability, pricelists, etc. **REQUIREMENTS:** + Education: Bachelor-s Degree in Agri-Business, Meat Science, Business, Marketing, or Animal Science preferred; + Experience: Minimum 5-7 year-s previous experience in the meat industry, with heavy emphasis on sales and pricing preferred; + Knowledge in the retail industry, market trends and distribution channels preferred; + Excellent written and verbal communication skills; + Strong data analysis skill with attention to detail and accuracy. **Salary commensurate with experience.** _Please note that Applicants will be asked to complete a pre-hire medical and drug and alcohol test.
