Pricing Specialist
HYBRID ROLE BASED OUT OF OUR NORCROSS OFFICE

Job Purpose:

Our Pricing Specialist will be responsible for utilizing our price tools and processes to ensure pricing accuracy and credibility. This role will maintain pricing on all accounts including customer specific outputs (customer part numbers, customer price UOM’s, etc.) and will work directly with the customer and sales professionals as source for pricing and margin management.

Job Responsibilities:

● Assist with sales training to maximize price performance and utilization of pricing tools.
● Engage with sales and sales management to improve seller pricing scores, minimize overrides, and improve transaction accuracy.
● Ensure minimum margin thresholds are maintained with appropriate sales management approval, manage customers with campaign exceptions.
● Provide expertise to pricing discussion and provide advice when pricing large or long term customer pricing decisions.
● Work in tandem with business leaders to ensure all pricing related initiatives are rolled out to sales.
● Research and resolve pricing errors within pricing and ERP systems.
● Provide reporting (overrides, opportunity reports, scorecards, ad hoc) and conduct analysis.
● Ensure connectivity and alignment with cost and rebate teams.
Perform price/product analysis looking for growth opportunities and review with the sales team.
● Provide product and vendor knowledge on their assigned accounts and viewed as a valued resource by peers and managers.
● Respond to pricing related inquiries.
● Prepare, process, and publish Weekly Price Campaigns.

Work Experience:

● 1-3 years of related job experience.● Ability to work quickly and efficiently.● Basic experience of simple office/operational systems.● Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.● Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.● Strong customer service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful).● Strong planning and organization skills are required.
