Reports to: PSCP Manager - India
Location: Ahmedabad or Delhi, India

This is a junior position within the Primark Sustainable Cotton Programme (PSCP) team. This role will contribute to the effective monitoring of cotton across the PSCP the supply chain in order to deliver the fundamental traceability and transparency requirements that are core values and sit at the heart of the PSCP. Traceability of cotton is critical to Primark’s ability to deliver its corporate social responsibility objectives and help customers understand where their clothes are produced.
This role will support Primark’s work to improve visibility of how cotton flows through the supply chain from farmer to final product. This role requires high level of internal travel. It will require spending at least 3-4 days per week in the field, mainly visiting PSCP sites, including ginners, spinners and fabric mills and factories.
What You’ll Do:
Traceability follow upWorking as directed by the PSCP Manager to ensure that traceability information on the TraceBale (current data capture system that is used to track transactions between the different parts of the PSCP supply chain. This is Cotton Connects (our Partner) propitiatory tool) or any other traceability platform is filled as required. Following up with sites (Ginners, Spinners or fabric mills and suppliers), where the information is incorrectly filled or incomplete, and helping them to correct this as required.Whilst visiting sites (ginners, spinners or fabric mills), verifying information collected on TraceBale or other traceability platform is correct, through on-site document checks as well as communication with on-site staff as appropriate.
Systems, Reporting and dataRunning regular reports on Tracebale as required, to ensure that the system is being used as required by the different supply chain participants, identify gaps and chase up on completion.Preparation of Reports and data analysis spreadsheets (MS excel) where required.
Team work and engagementWorks closely with the PSCP Manager and centrally as required, and other PSCP country teams (Pakistan, Bangladesh and Turkey), and the wider Ethical Trade and Environmental Sustainability, as well as Product Sourcing teams in the region.Ability to operate independently, taking on task ownership and adeptly managing time amidst competing priorities.
