Primary Care Physician

ProMedica Physicians Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate board-certified Primary Care Physician to join our healthcare team in Toledo, Ohio to lead a specialized corporate headquarters clinic, providing services to the employees and their dependents. This unique model also has on-site collaborative services that include dieticians, exercise physiologists, and physical therapists.
The position requires a strong skillset across the breadth of primary care, with special holistic emphasis on fitness, nutrition, well-being and mental health. Physician leader is expected to develop trusted and connected patient relationships to better mentor them in their overall health journey, driving industry-best levels of quality, outcomes, and patient experience.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Primary preventive care
Chronic disease management / Lifestyle medicine
Common acute and episodic care problems
Participate in care collaboration meetings with on-site ancillary support specialists
Serve as the physician lead for the medically integrated on-site fitness center
Coach patients throughout their care plan to increase compliance and engagement
Manage the on-site dispensary of commonly used medications
Deliver high scores in value-based quality metrics, guided by Owens Corning
Provide travel medicine care to best practice standards and real-time federal recommendations
Serve as the collaborating physician for advanced practice provider
Lead Owens Corning Wellness endeavors

Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
Valid medical license to practice in Ohio
Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related field
New graduates and experienced providers are both encouraged to apply
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Interest in being a part of leadership committees or councils
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Proficient in using electronic health record systems
