Role description:
We are looking for a Principal, Architect with experience in delivering complex mission critical and industrial projects from start to finish. This is a great opportunity for a passionate and creative mind to take on dynamic and challenging projects and be part of project leading the creative design initiatives on Industrial and mission Critical projects both locally and internationally. They will be a part of the team, helping to win, design and mentor a team of architects on Mission Critical and Industrial projects.
Role accountabilities:
Work with the Practice Group Manager, Industrial facilities to grow the mission critical and Industrial business in the region Leverage your existing experience and relationships with the national and global experience of the firm to grow your respective market Develop and maintain key relationships within our internal organization Lead and facilitate cross-sector / discipline / office efforts through collaboration and the development of inter-office relationships Develop and maintain key contacts in that industry Write and Review proposals Lead and foster client relationships and project presentations Provide high level guidance to achieve a trusted partner status with clients Hands-on involvement and leadership with project design, coordination, preparation, and delivery of project document Part of leading the process of creating and developing the fundamental design principles to guide a project from the earliest stages of its conception and continue to assist in its development and refinement through subsequent design and implementation phases As a member of the senior leadership team, collaborate with other practice leaders and colleagues to enhance Arcadis Industrial Facilities Studio’s culture for design excellence Assist with preparing Business Development (BD) proposals in bidding for new workQualifications & Experience:
Minimum University Degree in Architecture Minimum of 15 years experience 10 years experience in Industrial projects will be considered an asset Licensed Architect with current registration required Experience with large complex projects in manufacturing, automotive, food, refrigeration and aerospace is preferred Strategic thinking leadership skills, with an ability to connect business with practice Comprehensive understanding of project coordination and related requirements of all disciplines, under demanding deadlines Demonstrate ability in business developmentContinue your career journey as an Arcadian.

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $94,000 - $161,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
