Lead and drive enterprise programs at BU, manage change initiatives for BU and site projects, establish strategic feedback loops into COE, generate workforce planning inputs for business plans, provide general business guidance, and investigate non-escalated BI&C cases, initiating escalation as per triage process.
As Part Of Our Team You Will
Design and deliver and drive enterprise people related programs so that they are effective and relevant at the BU. Lead change management for BU and site projects.
Design and drive feedback loop to ensure BU and site considerations are incorporated into COE and BU People strategy. Lead the review and management of BU HR policies, standards and guidelines, ensuring alignment to People strategy and local laws.
Lead general business, People advisory systems and coaching of leaders within the BU.
Investigate non-escalated BI&C complaints and initiate as per triage process.
In this role, you also will:
Designs and leads the BU People teams to implement initiatives to deliver the BU’s people strategic plans, tactics and projects.
Provides consultation and support to managers on people issues and applicable company policies and procedures employment laws.
Solicits and listens to employees' concerns and takes an active role in resolving problems.
Measure employee engagement and lead initiatives to improve BU employee experience.
Prerequisites For Your Success In This RoleProficiency in project management methodologies like Agile and Waterfall, with the capability to plan, execute, and close projects effectively. They should excel in resource allocation, risk management, and timeline management.Additionally, understanding budgeting and financial planning for HR projects, managing project costs, demonstrating ROI, and skills in cost-benefit analysis are important. Awareness of labor laws, employment regulations, and compliance requirements, along with the ability to ensure HR projects adhere to legal standards and manage risks related to HR legal issues, is also necessary. Advanced proficiency in change management, including the ability to design, implement, and oversee change initiatives effectively. Expertise in workforce planning, with the capability to generate accurate workforce planning inputs that align with business strategies.Strong business advisory skills, providing strategic guidance and insights to business units.Proficiency in investigating non-escalated BI&C cases, with the ability to initiate escalation as per the triage process.Experience in leading and driving enterprise programs, ensuring successful delivery and alignment with organizational goals. Familiarity with establishing and maintaining strategic feedback loops into Centers of Excellence (COE) to inform and improve HR practices. Proficiency in using HR software and tools to support change management, workforce planning, and program delivery. Ability to leverage data and analytics to drive informed decision-making and demonstrate the impact of HR initiatives.Working Conditions
· In this hybrid role, based in our Miami office, you will collaborate and interact with teams across global, regional, and site organizations, as well as other service and operational areas of Newmont, spanning multiple time zones.
· This position requires regular travel to both domestic and international sites.
