Description Amazon Fulfillment Tech (AFT) is a critical pillar within Amazon, responsible for developing the foundational technologies, platforms, and capabilities that power the company's vast and complex operations. As the innovation engine behind Amazon's internal systems and solutions, AFT plays a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, efficiency, and the continuous evolution of Amazon's business. AFT teams work on a diverse array of mission-critical projects, from building the core infrastructure and software systems that underpin Amazon's global logistics network, to developing advanced AI and machine learning models that optimize every aspect of our operations. This includes foundational work in areas like large language models, computer vision, optimization, and predictive analytics - all of which are instrumental in enhancing productivity, safety, and the overall customer experience across Amazon. As a Principal PMT in Amazon Fulfillment Tech, you will be part of the AFT Science team. In this influential role, you will shape the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of a cutting-edge large language model (LLM) tailored to support the unique operational needs of Amazon's Fulfillment Centers and related internal teams. By defining a product strategy that enables broad generalization, you will also ensure that teams across AFT and more broadly across Amazon are able to easily build innovative, AI-driven solutions that drive operational excellence, productivity, and the continuous improvement of our fulfillment capabilities. By raising the bar for operational excellence across the entire network, your work will have a direct and significant impact on the efficiency, agility, and customer experience of Amazon's global logistics operations. To be successful in this role, you will leverage your experience in launching generative AI solutions to craft a transformative product strategy for fulfillment operations. You'll assess the current landscape, define a compelling vision, and identify high-impact use cases across Amazon's fulfillment ecosystem. Your ability to determine core model capabilities, develop a phased implementation roadmap, and establish clear success metrics will be crucial. You'll create a comprehensive adoption strategy, fostering cross-team collaboration to maximize the model's potential. Your expertise in translating generative AI capabilities into business solutions will drive innovation, setting ambitious benchmarks for operational improvements. Ultimately, you'll be a key driver in revolutionizing Amazon's fulfillment operations through the power of Generative AI.
