Overview

The Services Business Development team is a key differentiator for Mastercard, providing the cutting-edge services that help our customers grow. Focused on thinking big and scaling fast around the globe, this agile team is responsible for end-to-end solutions for a diverse global customer base. We combine traditional management consulting with our rich data assets and in-house technology to provide our clients with powerful strategic insights and recommendations.
While specializing in the payments industry, Services team also works closely with major retailers, airlines, and other enterprises, leveraging data and insights garnered from within and beyond its network.

The Services team and solutions fuel growth for our partners globally by providing cutting edge services in the areas of Consulting, Marketing, Loyalty, Personalization, Business Experimentation, Security, among others. Focused on thinking big and scaling fast, our agile sales team is responsible for end-to-end solutions for a diverse global customer base including Financial Institutions, Fintechs and Retailers.

As a member of our Business Development team, you will be at the frontline of generating excitement and demand for our unique solutions and forming successful lasting client relationships.

•\tCommercial Orientation: Ability to identify strong opportunities to leverage Services capabilities, including identification of cross-sell opportunities beyond direct project work, and partner with broader Services teammates on contracting activities, leveraging knowledge of Services capabilities and how they fit together to create relevant solutions for clients.

•\tProject Management: Clear interest in project delivery with business clients, and intuition for the way that companies make decisions.

•\tCommunication and Presence: Leads composition of complete deliverables and other written communication and demonstrates an ability to communicate verbally in a wide range of complex scenarios and up to senior management levels.

All About You

•\tDemonstrated excellence and career development in a B2B sales role.
•\tProven self-starter with record of success in team-oriented environment.
•\tB2B Sales experience preferably in data/analytics/insights, loyalty or professional services.
•\tDemonstrated experience in selling solutions to c-level clients.
•\tStrong communication and persuasion skills, both written and oral.
•\tAbility to influence internal and external stakeholders across markets and divisions.
•\tA proven attitude for learning technical terms and developing an understanding of complex technical products.
•\tHigh level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, initiative, and commitment.
•\tBachelor’s degree minimum.
•\tFluency in English and Spanish.
