What You’ll Do -
We are seeking a skilled Agile Scrum Master with at least 8 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate for the Agile Scrum Master role will have a solid background in Agile methodologies, including hands-on experience leading Scrum teams. They should possess excellent facilitation skills, a passion for fostering team collaboration, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of projects. Their commitment to continuous improvement and adaptability to changing requirements will be key to their success in this role.
You'll report to the Vice President, System Software
During a Typical Day, You’ll
· Facilitating Scrum Ceremonies\: This includes conducting Sprint Planning, Daily Standup, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective meetings.
· Improving Metrics\: Ensuring that all bugs logged are linked to the original story/task, identifying the environment (Dev, QA, UAT, Prod), and understanding where velocity issues are occurring.
· Standardizing Processes\: Ensuring that all stories/tasks have story points and pushing for stories to be broken into smaller stories.
· Internal Consulting\: Consulting with team members and internal stakeholders on how best to work with the scrum team.
· Reporting\: Regular analysis of burndown charts and other portfolio planning tools to understand what gets built and at what cadence.
· Blockers\: Aiding the team by eliminating external blockers and managing internal roadblocks through process or workflow improvements.
What You Bring to the Role
· Minimum of 8 years of experience in Agile Scrum Master role will have a solid background in Agile methodologies, including hands-on experience leading Scrum teams
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
