**Job Overview and Key Responsibilities:**
As Principal - Loyalty Marketing, you will support the development of marketing strategies and brand positioning for the MileagePlus Program, co-brand cards, with a focus on partnership initiatives to drive and articulate value for members and cardholders. This role combines brand marketing strategy and execution, helping to craft compelling marketing programs, while ensuring consistency with both the MileagePlus and United brand voice and positioning.
+ Lead and oversee the development of integrated marketing programs that support the goals and priorities of the Loyalty department
+ Drive partner marketing efforts to drive customer value, enhance partner engagement, and contribute to increased accrual, redemption and media opportunities
+ Create marketing materials that support loyalty campaigns and enhance the overall customer experience within the MileagePlus program
+ Implement loyalty engagement and membership acquisition strategies
+ Foster relationships with critical stakeholders, external agencies and partners to drive maximum impact and facilitate clear communication
+ Ensure consistency in the application of the MileagePlus brand’s look, feel, and messaging across all touchpoints
NOTE: This position provides a hybrid work arrangement including 50% of the time spent working onsite at our Chicago office location and 50% remotely.
**Qualifications**
**What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):**
+ Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Digital Media, Social Media Marketing, Business or equivalent experience
+ 4+ years in marketing, communications and/or advertising, ideally in airline and loyalty
+ Entrepreneurial role with a start-up mentality. This role requires strong aptitude for working through ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
+ Deep marketing tactical experience, managing integrated campaigns, liaising with creative teams/agencies and contributing creative ideas
+ Project Management skills and experience to drive accountability and timely, quality delivery of outputs
+ Cross functional experience working with business leadership on marketing needs
+ Ability to drive and extract Partnership value through alignment of objectives and the creation of win-win strategies
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
**What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):**
+ M.S. in Marketing and Communications or a relevant technical or business (MBA) post graduate degree
+ Partner marketing experience
The base pay range for this role is $99,750.00 to $135,960.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
