About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Principal AI Software Engineer to join our CCIBT Organization and be part of the GenAI team.  In this role as an AI engineer, you will develop cutting edge artificial intelligence solutions using large language models, agentic frameworks, and other innovative technologies. The ideal candidate would have experience in designing, developing, and deploying applications leveraging LLM models and systems, with a strong focus on Prompt Engineering, Fine Tuning, RAG implementation and Agentic frameworks.

In this role, you will:

Design, develop, and deploy AI applications using LM's, agents, agentic framework, and other related technologies Collaborate with enterprise teams to integrate LLM models with the existing CCIBT products and systemsLead the design and development of scalable AI applications, ensuring high performance, accuracy and reliabilityDefine benchmarks with metrics to evaluate the performance of agents and agentic frameworksStay up to date with the latest advancements in AI, LLM, agentic frameworks and apply this knowledge to improve existing systems and develop new onesLead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas or the enterprise, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinkingTranslate advanced technology experience, an in-depth knowledge of the organizations tactical and strategic business objectives, the enterprise technological environment, the organization structure, and strategic technological opportunities and requirements into technical engineering solutionsAct as an advisor to leadership to influence AI development strategies, while creating reusable components and tools to enhance efficiency and scalability across CCIBT

Required Qualifications:

7+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education7+ years of experience in software development5+ years of Java, Python, OpenShift containers, and other relevant technologies5+ years of AI and ML concepts, including deep learning, natural language processing and computer vision


Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, artificial intelligence or a related field Knowledge of Chatbots, MS365 Copilot, GPT-4o, OSWorld, SWE-Bench, HumanEval is preferred Experience with other programming languages, such as C++Experience with the agile development methodologies and version control systems such as GITCertification in AI, machine learning or a related fieldExcellent problem-solving skills come up with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issuesStrong collaboration and communication skills come with the ability to work effectively with cross functional teams

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$144,400.00 - $300,000.00
