Job Description:

Working knowledge and experience with Intelligence Community Directives (ICD's), 32 CFR Part 117, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), OPSEC principles, and other applicable government security regulations, manuals, and processesMaintain working relationship with Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency (DCSA) and other government agencies as primary Point of Contact for Corporate security mattersPrevious Facility Security Officer (FSO) experienceMust be proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointWrite/edit/maintain security plans, procedures, instructions and other required documentationManage/maintain facility clearance documents (SF-328, DD 441, etc.)Conduct security self-inspections (at least annually), and apply risk mitigation methodologiesProvide security training for site personnel, including but not limited to initial security indoctrinations, pre/post foreign travel briefings, annual refresher briefings, debriefings for outgoing employeesHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and time sensitive deliverablesMaintain awareness of changing industrial security regulations and how those changes impact site policies, personnel, or projectsPrepare required security materials for annual DCSA facility reviews and inspectionsSupport and assist senior management team in other areas as may be required to ensure lean and efficient operation of the organization as a whole

Requirements/Qualifications:

Experience as a Cleared Defense Contractor (CDC) working in corporate and/or government environments with industrial security duties in support of Intelligence Community (IC) or Department of Defense (DoD) programsEfficient, proactive, responsive team player with excellent written and oral communication skills; able to interface effectively with all levels of corporate management and government customersProficient with DISS, NISS, NBIS, and SIMSFamiliar with Government Contracting requirements as it relates to securityIndustrial Security Professional (ISP) Certification (preferred) or CDSE FSO Program Management Certification (for Possessing or Non-Possessing Facilities)8 years of Industrial Security experience with Bachelor's; OR 6 years with Master’s, 4 years with PhD OR an additional 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for bachelor’s degree
