About the Team: The Principal IT SW Engineer is responsible for building new functionality and enhancements, including data gathering and interfacing with internal systems, creating requirement documents, building technical specifications in the tool (Anaplan), and creating technical test scenarios. About the Role: The position requires technical expertise within the tool (Anaplan) and is responsible for the development of all required objects to obtain the expected result in the system. Understand business processes and data governance concepts associated with master data and document business requirements and processes to ensure data is reliable and ready for use. Basic Qualifications: 3-5+ years of experience designing and developing forecasting complex models in Anaplan. Capable of independently organizing, managing and migrating functionality through a multi-tiered landscape Ability to troubleshoot issues, including performance tuning exercises Understands Anaplan interface capabilities and has developed and maintained interfaces with external applications Ability to easily pick up and apply new technical skills to support and integrate with Anaplan. Experience monitoring Anaplan activity and proactively identify performance and/or locking issues Experience implementing and testing Anaplan solutions Preferred Qualifications Capable of independently prioritizing day-to-day work with assigned tasks and issues as they arise. Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with experience exercising mature judgement Experience creating dashboards, forms and reports using Anaplan Experience connecting Anaplan with Power BI. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
