Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond. **Responsibilities** + You will own development of state-of-the-art machine learning, deep learning algorithms and techniques leveraging text and images for analyzing and transforming content to build world-class search and recommendation products that have the potential to transform billions of people’s lives. + As a member of our team, you will design, develop, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models, as well as corresponding metrics and measurements, online and offline pipelines, and integrate into production runtimes. + You will collaborate with partners within the team or distributed globally. + You will leverage state-of-the-art models and strategies to improve our metric-driven targets. **Qualifications** **Required Qualifications** + Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 6+ years related experience (e.g., statistics, predictive analytics, research) + OR Master's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years related experience (e.g., statistics, predictive analytics, research) + OR Doctorate in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 3+ years related experience (e.g., statistics, predictive analytics, research) + OR equivalent experience. **Preferred Qualifications** + Previous experience in search and recommendations analytics or related fields. + Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) and LLMs. + Published research or contributions to the data science community. Applied Sciences IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $137,600 - $267,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $180,400 - $294,000 per year.
