Principle Architect

What You Will Do:   

Design and implement cloud solutions with a focus on edge architecture & servicesLead the definition of cloud to edge requirements, use cases, system flows, hardware, platform and software architecture that meets performance, scalability, and security requirementsLead the evaluation and selection of technologies and services that align with business requirements Develop and maintain architecture standards and best practicesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather technical requirements and provide architectural guidance Drive the implementation of data governance, compliance, and security measures within the cloud environment Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate vision systems with hardware and software platforms, ensuring high performance and reliability Conduct research on state-of-the-art recognition techniques and stay current with industry trends 

Minimum Qualifications 

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field 10years of experience in cloud architecture, with a focus on edge computing, data architecture, and security Proven experience designing and implementing complex cloud/edge solutions in a large-scale environment Strong understanding of cloud platforms and edge services in providers such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform In-depth knowledge of data architecture principles, data management, and cloud-based data servicesExperience with cloud security best practices, including identity management, encryption, and access control No immigration sponsorship available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications 

Previous experience with early-stage product development Proven track record of deploying products in dynamic environments Interest in collaborating with partners outside of core team / organization (including SMEs in computer Vision AI) Ability to wear multiple hats and plug into different roles as product develops Desire to be in a fast-moving, agile environment with willingness to adjust quickly Openness to experimental approaches typical of tech start-ups Willingness to learn new skills and technical languages as needed
