You are an experienced technical leader with deep domain knowledge in distributed systems, infrastructure architecture/scaling, cloud security, availability/reliability, and building platform-as-a-service offerings. What you’ll do: Build and oversee Mulesoft infrastructure and trust architecture strategy Partner with product & engineering organizations, customers, and internal stakeholders to develop and drive MuleSoft infrastructure architecture strategy that supports the objectives of the business Serve as the primary steward and key voice of the infrastructure strategy, communicating decisions and tradeoffs to internal and external stakeholders Be a Mulesoft Technologies Evangelist Evangelize infrastructure at scale best practices and architectural decisions. Represent Mulesoft and its infrastructure technologies with internal stakeholders, customers, and partners Be an R&D leader Lead the infrastructure architecture strategy implementation, partnering with your architecture team, senior technical leaders, and engineering teams to translate architecture into design. Help hire, inspire, and develop the Mulesoft Trust & Infrastructure architecture/engineering team into a best-in-class organization. Promote technical best practices Drive the Trust & Infrastructure architecture governance model (e.g. architecture review board, reference architecture(s), standards/policies) Coordinate architecture decisions across all architects within your organization Work closely with engineering teams to enable highly available architecture at scale What you should have: Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or Engineering At least ten (10) years of experience in platform architecture (SaaS, PaaS) with at least three (3) years of experience in a similar leadership role Demonstrable expertise and interest in architecting complex and scalable platforms; expert-level knowledge of relevant architecture/ design principles and patterns Demonstrable experience delivering cloud-native capabilities on AWS or similar constructs; experience with integrations, automation, and API management is a significant plus Proven experience and strong desire to lead, with experience leading cross-functional architecture teams Advanced relationship management and communication skills, including partnering and consulting with senior leaders/C-level roles Strong skills in critical thinking, decision-making, problem-solving, and attention to detail Preferred Requirements: Strong understanding of Integrations, Automation, and Full Life Cycle API Management Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure and environments (public/private) and ability to lead the team through technical challenges in implementation Strong and broad working knowledge of the state of the art in cloud computing infrastructure, including IaaS, PaaS, containers, analytics, data center deployments, and others Strong understanding of Kubernetes About CognizantCognizant (Nasdaq-100:CTSH) is one of the world's leading professional services companies, redefining clients' business, operating, and technology models for the digital era. About the Team / Business UnitAt Cognizant's MuleSoft practice, we help our clients shape their digital transformation journey and design innovative industry solutions using MuleSoft's power. Our experts provide relevant expertise and experience within their domain combined with deep knowledge of the MuleSoft platform and broader ecosystem. This role will be part of the core team of the MuleSoft practice, and you will have the opportunity to be part of a significant growth story.

The annual salary for this position is between $190,000 - 210,000, depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
