Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position for a skilled Principal AWS Architect in Utah County. Responsibilities: • Design, operate and optimize AWS VPCs, Route53, ECS, Cloudfront, load balancers, and other AWS infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security. • Develop and implement robust disaster recovery and resiliency automation solutions spanning across AWS Availability Zones. • Collaborate with team members to provide operational support during incidents, leveraging a deep understanding of infrastructure and the technologies our applications utilize such as IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS. • Act as a liaison with AWS support to address platform-related issues and engage with third-party SaaS providers to resolve connectivity and performance challenges. • Utilize CI/CD experience and knowledge in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment practices, particularly with deployments into AWS infrastructure. • Showcase proficiency in using Terraform for defining, deploying, and managing infrastructure as code, implementing best practices for IaC using Terraform to ensure consistency, automation, and version control. • Leverage skills in AWS Technologies, AWS Fargate, AWS integrations, AWS CloudTrail, Elasticsearch Technologies, Terraform, GitHub, and Application Architecture. Requirements • Must have over 10 years of relevant experience in the field. • Proficiency in AWS Technologies is mandatory. • Experience with AWS Fargate is required. • Familiarity with AWS integrations is needed. • Understanding of IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS is expected. • Knowledge of Elasticsearch Technologies is a must. • Experience in Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CICD) is preferred. • Proficiency with Terraform is required • Expertise in Application Architecture is necessary.
