SUMMARY
The Principal Business Intelligence Analyst will derive business intelligence and develop strategic business plans using AI-enabled analytics, modeling, and healthcare domain expertise. This is a highly visible position that will work with cutting-edge healthcare technology to support data-driven decision-making. The role ensures timely delivery of planned and ad-hoc reports, manages client expectations, and continuously optimizes business models for efficiency and quality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinical & Operations Analysis
Collaborate with clinical, operations, and analytics teams to develop and present key operational metrics. Guide Cancer Network members in standardizing data definitions and structured data export processes. Explore technology solutions to improve data transfer, validation, and visualization. Support leadership in using metrics to drive market growth strategies. Understand disease site pathways and apply insights to business analysis.
Business Intelligence & Strategic Insights
Utilize AI-driven solutions to analyze large datasets and generate business insights. Develop data-driven solutions to address complex healthcare challenges. Extract insights from structured and unstructured data and present findings in reports and presentations. Conduct service line program evaluations, market dynamics assessments, and competitive analyses. Utilize BI tools, visual analytics, and financial data for strategic recommendations.
Quality Control & Expertise
Ensure accuracy and reliability of market research and business intelligence deliverables. Provide constructive feedback to improve the quality of strategic analyses. Serve as a subject matter expert in clinical research, cancer registry, SEER, disease sites, and BI repositories. Develop and modify predictive analytics models for market demand forecasting.
Technology & Tools Experience
Proficiency in AI, machine learning, and Big Data analytics. Experience with SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI. Strong background in dashboard creation and management. Work with the Cancer Network to develop technology supporting cancer program growth and care strategies.
Other duties as assigned.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Care or related field.
Experience
Nine years related program development or project management experience, to include five years of progressive experience in data analysis and predictive analytics.
