In this role, you will work with members of the Cloud Customer Experience team to productize new technologies and enhance existing processes and procedures through documentation and implementation of new technologies. **What You'll Do at Pega:** Be an integral part of a team that analyzes performance profiles of enterprise software on the Pega Cloud and helps define performance best practices and governance policies. Develop tools and practices for infrastructure performance monitoring and resiliency testing. Work closely with capacity planning and operations teams to understand their needs and translate them into clearly defined requirements. Evaluate new and emerging technologies and determine applicability to current and future projects and markets. Provide performance oversight, review, assistance, and guidance to teams while they work on delivering new features. Communicate effectively with developers and product owners about performance analysis, presenting alternative approaches and plans when appropriate. **What You've Accomplished:** + Requires Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field of study, and + 6 years of experience in any job title/occupation/position designing and developing software to scale using containers and Services. + Experience specified must include each of the following: + 4 years of experience with Java programming language; + 3 years of experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or Oracle; + 2 years of experience deploying software using Docker containers; + 2 years of experience with SCM including git and GitHub; + 2 years of experience with J2EE, Kubernetes and Terraform; + 1 year of experience evaluating performance of Java based application memory analysis using YourKit or a similar tool; + 1 year of experience with Agile or SCRUM; and + 1 year of experience with AWS, Azure or GCP. + May live anywhere in the US.
