Summary:
The Principal Competitive Intelligence Analyst is a strategic role responsible for executing on the company’s competitive intelligence strategy. This role involves gathering, analyzing, and disseminating actionable intelligence on competitors, market trends, and industry developments to support strategic decision-making and maintain a competitive edge.

Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive market research to define a market/category model, identify industry trends, competitive activities, and market opportunities. Analyze competitor strategies, product offerings, pricing, and marketing tactics and translate into actionable insights. Develop and maintain a competitive intelligence database, ensuring information is up-to-date and easily accessible. Provide insights that inform Go To Market, product development, marketing strategies, and business planning. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and market metrics. Prepare and present detailed reports and presentations to senior management, highlighting key findings and strategic recommendations. Stay informed about industry news, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes that may impact the market. Strategize on the development of messaging by stakeholder, product positioning and differentiating UKG from the competition to influence marketing and sales content.Enable internal teams to properly position and differentiate company offerings relative to competitors.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field. 7+ years of proven experience in competitive intelligence, market research, or a related role. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Proficiency in market research tools and software. Knowledge of the industry and market trends. Strong business acumen. Demonstrated ability to translate insights into tactical selling motions.Preferred Qualifications:
Masters degree preferred

The pay range for this position is $127000 - 181000, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
