The Integration and Support Group (ISG), a large IT organization within the Northrop Grumman Space Systems sector is seeking an experienced Computer Systems Architect to support the Payload and Ground Systems Division (PGSD) in their development and deployment of ground systems. The location for this role will be at our Space Park campus in Redondo Beach, CA. This work is in a secure facility (SCIF) and 100% onsite work is required.

Design and develop system architecture and define key capabilities and performance requirements. Define design and technology maturity constraints of the system in accordance with customer specifications. Develop thorough definition of system external interfaces. Define system implementation approach and operational concept. Ensure requirements are met and evaluate performance with the customer.
This requisition may be filled at either a Level 3 or a Level 4, depending on the qualifications outlined below.
Basic Qualifications for Level 3:
Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience, or Master's degree and 3 years of experience; an additional 4 years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a degreeCurrent/Active DoD Top Secret/SCI with Adjudicated CI PolyCompTIA Security+ certificationDemonstrated expertise as a Linux Systems AdministratorExperience in automating tasks utilizing scripting and/or orchestration tools. Specifically, proficiency in one or more of the following languages is preferred: PowerShell, Python, Bash, or YAML (executed/managed via Ansible)Knowledge of version control using code repositories (Bitbucket/Gitlab)Familiarity with Virtual environment using VMware products (i.e., vCenter, ESXi, etc.)Familiarity with Networking environment (i.e., routers, firewalls, VLANs, etc.)Familiarity with NAS technologies such as NetAppBasic Qualifications for Level 4:

Demonstrated expertise with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)Experience with troubleshooting complex RHEL, network, and COTS-related issuesExperience with AnsibleExperience managing a highly virtualized production environmentExperience producing system architecture documentationCertifications (i.e., Red Hat, NetApp, VMware, etc.)Salary Range: $107,300.00 - $160,900.00Salary Range 2: $133,000.00 - $199,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
