**Job Overview:** The Principal Construction Specialist interprets internal or external business issues and recommends best practices. They will be tasked with solving complex Construction-related problems and will work independently with minimal guidance. The Principal Construction Specialist may be responsible for leading functional teams or projects and is regarded as a specialist in Construction. As such, they must have in-depth expertise in Construction and broad knowledge of the Construction discipline within the Fabrication function. **Key Tasks and Responsibilities:** + Plan and execute activities + Manage construction activities on a dedicated project and associated structures + Manage day-to-day through a team of subordinates + Chair and lead all construction planning meetings and progress reviews + Ensure the completion of required daily construction activities across all disciplines + Lead planning efforts for all of the construction + Maintain a high standard of safe working practice, quality, and productivity, as well as compliance with the Code of Business Conduct **Essential Qualifications and Education:** + Diploma + Minimum of 7 years of experience in a construction role, with a minimum of 5 years of international experience + In-depth knowledge of construction processes, methodologies, materials, and building codes + Strong project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously + Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with the capacity to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams + Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal + Proficiency in project management software and tools + Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities + Ability to work within tight deadlines and manage project constraints effectively \#LI-AL2 Our ingenuity fuels daily life.
