How you'll make an impact Manage financial performance of a local Health & Productivity practice Serve as a strategic advisor to large clients on H&P issues Consistently grow H&P revenues with existing clients and new clients Manage Health Consultants at the Principal to Associate level Work with Managing Directors, Principals, Consultants, National Director of H&P and Market Leaders to develop strategic business plans for the local practice that support the practice strategic direction and the local markets Manage and support major H&P projects and business development initiatives within practice to ensure engagements are staffed Participate on H&P and cross functional teams and promote teamwork within the practice Provide specific guidance and direction to associates to ensure work focus is correct and work is delivered on time and on budget at the highest quality standards Manage projects so that results are both of distinctive quality and useful to the client Maintain awareness of industry and market trends as well as competition in order to leverage services provided and to aggressively grow revenue Lead efforts in the recruitment of staff for the local practice to achieve targeted market penetration Grow practice to profitable level including staff over next three year period Responsible for exhibiting the attributes and behaviors that support the organization’s short and long-term goals Network within Gallagher’s multi practices and products About You Bachelor's Degree Business Management or related field preferred over 10 years of related experience Desired but not mandatory: CEBS, CLU In-depth knowledge of benefit programs, funding arrangements, administrative arrangements, insurance products, compliance and claims administration Participation in a professional organization(s) specific to business a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong presentation skills Ability to interact effectively with people, both internally and externally Self-starter and good problem solver Good listening skills Strong critical thinking and reasoning skills High standards of professional ethics Compensation and benefits On top of a competitive salary, great teams and exciting career opportunities, we also offer a wide range of benefits.
