Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant, Presales Domain Specialist
This role involves collaborating with tower leads and cross-functional teams to submit RFX responses, designing solutions and estimating efforts, creating compelling proposals and sales presentations, delivering product demonstrations, understanding client requirements, project managing RFX responses, collaborating with pricing and legal teams, and staying informed about industry trends for strategic insights to the sales team
Responsibilities
Utilize deep knowledge of Consumer-Packaged Goods Retail (CPGR) industry to understand client needs and effectively communicate how IT applications can address their specific challenges.
Utilize domain understanding and synergize it with Genpact’s offering to make compelling solutions.
Closely work with Solution Architect, Delivery Tower Leads and Sales to design the right solution and effort estimation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the feasibility and alignment of proposed solutions.
Create and deliver compelling proposals, RFP responses, and sales presentations that align with client needs and objectives.
Develop and present engaging product demonstrations and proofs of concept (POCs) to showcase our capabilities effectively.
Engage with clients to understand their business requirements and pain points.
End to end ownership of project managing the RFX response.
Close collaboration with the pricing team.
Desing, own and lead the SOW creation to submission process, engaging with multiple teams – sales, solution architect, delivery, commercial and legal teams.
Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors' offerings to stay informed and provide strategic insights to the sales team.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
Deep domain understanding of CPGR industry is mandatory.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
Familiarity with cloud technologies is required.
Proven experience as a Pre-Sales Consultant in the application services domain, with a track record of successful engagements and sales achievements.
In-depth understanding of various application development technologies, platforms, and methodologies.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
Demonstrated experience in crafting technical proposals, RFP responses, and sales collateral.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to design effective solutions.
Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
