Principal Consultant
Principal Consultant Most of your time will be spent with our customers helping guide pharmacy automation and improve business outcomes while working in parallel with cross-functional teams. We will look to you to provide experiences that compel our customers to partner with us. You will advise customers on workflows that optimize medication management to create safety and more efficient ways to manage medications across all care settings. Your key responsibilities + Responsible for overseeing the overall design and planning for large, complex, strategic projects and owning the overall outcomes. + Provide on-site representation from the Professional Services organization in a healthcare setting. + Responsible for ensuring multiple, large concurrent implementations meet the customers desired outcomes. + Delegate project tasks to more junior resources while influencing outcomes to meet project timelines, as well as the adherence to best practices, policies, and procedures. + Facilitate in person and virtual meetings with a high level of effectiveness. + Communicate to leadership and develop mitigation strategies for potential risks (people and technology) that will impact customer relationship and project timelines. + Accountable for delegating and coaching a collaborative team of consultants. + Drive compliance with a team of consultants in meeting client utilization metric. + Accelerate customer performance with our products by expertly structuring and facilitating collaborative problem solving. + Influence thought leadership while contributing to customer satisfaction and success of project implementations collectively with the project management and technical services team. + Contribute to customer satisfaction and success of project implementations collectively with the project management and technical services team. Required knowledge and skills + Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfort leading conversations with audiences of all levels to articulate customers’ needs and provide advanced data or analysis. Bring thought leadership to our organization and clients. + Ability to anticipate client needs and formulate recommendations. + Proactively identify opportunities or gaps in process that will improve customer experience. + Exceptionally high organizational and time management skills. + Extensive Omnicell product knowledge and experience with technology within a cloud-based platform and delivering solutions as a service. To qualify for the role + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + High level of initiative, ability to provide upward communication. + Life-long learner continuously thriving in a fast-paced innovative technology company. + Curious – Always searching for the ‘why’. + Advanced skills with Microsoft Office applications including Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. + Omnicell internal candidates’ completion of department specific trainings and mentoring. **Education and Experience** Minimum 2 years’ experience in healthcare setting w/ Associates Degree or Professional Healthcare Certification **OR** BA/BS degree **_AND_** 5 years of experience consulting on healthcare solution implementations **Preferred** : BS/BA degree in Healthcare, Project management, Business, Finance, or IT/IS **Working Conditions** + Must be able to travel based on requirements for assigned project work (up to 100%) + Must be able to lift/push heavy equipment and have good dexterity for doing routine configuration tasks.
