In this role, you will be responsible for oversee and manage the successful delivery of cloud projects. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies, strong project management skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Identify and document project requirements and resources needed.
• Lead and manage the execution of cloud projects from initiation to completion.
• Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and operations.
• Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders.
• Provide regular updates and reports on project status, milestones, and deliverables.
• Facilitate effective communication between project teams and stakeholders.
• Ensure projects meet quality standards and deliverables are completed to specifications.
• Conduct regular project reviews and audits.
• Implement and maintain project documentation and records.
• Allocate and manage project resources, including team members, budget, and equipment.
• Ensure resource availability and optimize resource utilization.
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers.
• Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate change management processes.
• Ensure all changes are documented and approved by stakeholders.
• Communicate changes and their impacts to project teams and stakeholders.
• Conduct project closure activities, including final project reviews and documentation.
• Ensure all project deliverables are completed and accepted by stakeholders.
• Capture lessons learned and best practices for future projects.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in cloud project management.
• Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes and methodologies.
• Participate in training and certification programs to enhance project management skills.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Experience in project management, with a managing cloud projects.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud services.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).
• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
• Project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or ScrumMaster.
• Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
