Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant-Manual and Automation testing
We are seeking an experienced Principal Consultant specializing in Automation and Manual Testing to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing methodologies, extensive experience in both automation and manual testing, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality testing solutions to clients.
Responsibilities
• Lead and manage testing projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
• Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases for both automation and manual testing efforts.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard testing tools and frameworks.
• Conduct manual testing activities, including test case execution, defect logging, and test result analysis.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure effective communication and alignment on testing objectives.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior testing team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and skill development.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in software testing, automation, and quality assurance.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
• Strong in Manual testing skills - Analyze requirements, do test design and documentation
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• years of experience in software testing and quality assurance roles, with a focus on automation and manual testing.
• 2. Knowledge of Selenium/rest assured API/ - Heavy backend automation UI
• 3. Testing backend applications without a UI
• 4. Hands-on DB, Unix experience

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
• Proven expertise in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, testing types, and testing best practices.
• Experience with performance testing, security testing, and/or accessibility testing is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and propose effective solutions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
