We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Consultant in Mobile and API Automation to join our dynamic team. As a Principal Consultant, you will lead technical projects, provide expertise in automation strategies, and deliver high-quality solutions to our clients. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, design automation frameworks, and ensure successful implementation of mobile and API automation solutions.
Responsibilities
• Lead and execute end-to-end automation solutions for mobile applications and APIs, using industry-leading tools and frameworks.
• Design and develop automation frameworks for both mobile and API testing to ensure scalability, reusability, and performance.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and define testing strategies and automation roadmaps for mobile and API environments.
• Mentor and guide junior consultants, providing technical leadership and fostering best practices within the team.
• Review code, design, and implementation to ensure quality and maintainability of automation solutions.
• Automate test scenarios for mobile apps (iOS/Android) and RESTful APIs to support continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Perform code reviews and provide recommendations to improve test coverage and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot issues in both mobile and API automation environments, offering solutions and optimizing test cases for improved speed and reliability.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in mobile and API testing and automation.
• Build strong relationships with clients, offering expert guidance on test automation strategies and aligning with business objectives.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in mobile and API automation, including hands-on work with mobile test automation tools.
• Proven experience leading a testing team and managing complex testing projects.
• Strong hands-on experience with various testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and frameworks.
Preferred qualifications
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and drive resolution in a collaborative team environment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Leadership experience, including leading teams, managing projects, and driving technical initiatives to successful completion.
• Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., ISTQB, certifications) are a plus.
