Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant, Oracle Fusion ERP Testing Specialist
We are looking for a skilled Oracle Fusion ERP Testing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in testing Oracle Fusion ERP applications and will be responsible for ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of our ERP solutions. You will work closely with functional consultants, developers, and business users to create, execute, and manage test plans and scripts to validate system functionality and performance. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum experience in Oracle Fusion ERP modules mainly in Supply chain.
Experience in Manual/Functional testing.
API Testing: Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, RestAssured, Newman
Agile Methodology: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
Responsibilities
Develop and document comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements and functional specifications.
Define testing strategies and approaches to ensure complete and effective coverage of Oracle Fusion ERP modules.
Test Execution:
Execute manual and automated test scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and stability of Oracle Fusion ERP applications.
Perform various types of testing, including functional, integration, regression, user acceptance, and performance testing.
Defect Management:
Identify, document, and track defects and issues discovered during testing.
Work closely with development and functional teams to communicate issues, provide detailed defect reports, and ensure timely resolution.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with business analysts, functional consultants, and developers to understand system requirements and design effective test scenarios.
Participate in project meetings, review sessions, and requirement workshops to provide testing insights and feedback.
Testing Documentation:
Create and maintain detailed documentation related to testing activities, including test plans, test cases, test scripts, and defect logs.
Provide regular status reports on testing progress, issues, and outcomes to project stakeholders.
Represents client’s in an ethical and business-like professional manner in all interactions with growers, co-workers, suppliers, customers, and the business community at large.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications
Experience with specific Oracle Fusion ERP modules (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, HR).- Needed
Knowledge of oracle DB and database testing.- Needed
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies. Experience working on different platforms like web application, API, Mobile and reports
Previous experience working in the implementation or support of supply chain solutions is a plus.
Good understanding and hands-on experience on Software Testing
Expert level experience In-depth knowledge of testing methodologies, best practices, and industry standards.
Experience in working with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
Experience in writing complex queries in SQL Server, MySQL.
Experience with JIRA and Qtest.
Passionate about exploring new technologies.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound technical decisions.
Should have great experience with leading the small team and help the team technically whenever needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven experience with Oracle Fusion ERP testing, including functional, integration, and performance testing.
Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion ERP modules and their functionalities.
Proficiency in test management and automation tools (e.g., Oracle Application Testing Suite, Selenium).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM).
Certifications: Relevant Oracle Fusion ERP or testing certifications are highly desirable
