Job DescriptionEurofins Lancaster Laboratories Professional Scientific Services, LLC (Eurofins PSS) is searching for a Principal Contracts Specialist/Project Manager to join our team. This role will have full responsibility ensuring the most positive negotiation outcome and Eurofins Group compliance working collaboration with clients, senior leadership, and outside and internal counsel as needed. This position is responsible for establishing program and managing the full contract lifecycle including managing timelines, drafting, reviewing, and administratively managing the approval process and storage of contractual agreements to ensure contracts are renewed in proactive and timely fashion to ensure business continuity. Position will gain and utilize contract law, design and facilitate training to ensure PSS leadership and BD are well versed to drive contract negotiation in compliance with standards set by Principal Contracts Specialist in collaboration and alignment with senior leadership. In addition, remain flexible and a supportive team member with additional duties as needed.
Contracts Specialist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Maintain and improve standardized PSS MSA drafts and accompanying documents such as PA, SOW to capture changing compliance with laws and best practices to drive business success.Design program to ensure visible tracking of current MSA and agreed upon terms and make recommendations to help drive improvements in client relationships.Collaborate and ensure alignment with any global MSAs. Draft, review and negotiate multiple types of contract agreements.Review draft contract agreements against internal policy for deviations and document any variance requests.Liaison with external counsel when required for additional review.Handle and ensure contracts are submitted and meet the internal review and approval process requirements.Manage contract data for timeliness, accuracy and quality.Maintain complete, accurate and up-to-date contract files.Oversee renewal cycle and summary of key terms to ensure contract compliance.Administer internal electronic signature application for use in contracts and statements of work.Complete periodic compliance reviews for internal requirements for contracts, finance and other areas as assigned.Provide executive administrative support and conduct special projects as directed.Recommend and implement process improvements when appropriate.Assist and provide support for administrative projects as needed to support overall team responsibilities.QualificationsThe ideal candidate would possess:
