Principal Cybersecurity - Intelligence Analyst

The successful candidate will work closely with the Intelligence Community (IC) in the federal government to address intelligence issues related to cybersecurity. This role demands a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, excellent communications skills, and a deep understanding of intelligence methodologies. **Key Responsibilities:** **Threat Analysis and Intelligence Gathering:** + Conduct comprehensive threat analysis and gather intelligence on emerging cyber threats and vulnerabilities. + Collaborate with IC federal agencies to share threat intelligence and support the coordination of responses to cyber incidents. + Monitor and analyze cyber threat trends, techniques, and tactics used by malicious actors. + Ensure all intelligence activities comply with legal and ethical standards. + Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information. **Report Preparation:** + Prepare detailed intelligence reports and briefings for senior management on cybersecurity threats and mitigation efforts. + Present findings in a clear and concise manner, using visual aids such as charts and graphs. **Collaboration and Communication:** + Serve as a liaison between AT&T CSO and IC federal government agencies on intelligence and threats related to cybersecurity matters. + Foster strong relationships with key IC stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration. + Work closely with other departments and external agencies to share intelligence and coordinate responses to threats. + Participate in interagency meetings and intelligence-sharing initiatives related to cybersecurity. **Technological Proficiency:** + Utilize advanced analytical tools and software to process and analyze large datasets. + Stay updated with the latest intelligence technologies and methodologies and seek professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge. **Qualifications:** + _Education:_ Bachelor’s degree in Intelligence Studies, International Relations, Political Science, or a related field with a specialization in Cyber Security. Advanced degree is a plus. + _Experience_ : Minimum of 8 years of experience in the intelligence community field, with a focus on cybersecurity threats and activities. + _Clearance_ : Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance as required by federal agencies; active TS/SCI clearance desired. + _Skills:_ + In-depth knowledge and experience working with IC federal government agencies on cybersecurity initiatives. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically. + Highly organized and self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to work independently or collaboratively. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. + Strong understanding of Cybersecurity Threat Intelligence Lifecycle and Cybersecurity principles. + Strong knowledge related to the current state of cyber adversary tools, techniques, and tactics. + Broad understanding of network architecture and network security methods, including capabilities and limitations. + Familiarity of telecommunications industry threats and targeting. + Strong analytical skills and the ability to effectively research, write, communicate, and brief varying levels of audiences to include at the executive level. **Work Environment:** + Office-based with required travel in and around the DC Metro Area, including Virginia and Maryland. + May require travel and irregular working hours depending on the nature of intelligence operations. The Principal Cybersecurity role earns between $158,200.00-$237,400.00 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
