Principal Data Scientist

This position will play a pivotal role in driving our machine learning and AI initiatives and will be responsible for understanding business requirements, developing and deploying machine learning models, and delivering actionable insights to support strategic decisions across the organization.

1.Data Analysis: Utilizing analytical, statistical, and programming skills to collect, analyze, and interpret large data sets.2.Design and implement machine learning models to solve complex business problems. Perform data cleaning, preprocessing, and exploratory data analysis. Build, train, and evaluate predictive models or algorithms.  Deploy model to a production environment. Stay abreast of the latest AI and machine learning trends and technologies.3.Insight Generation: Developing data-driven solutions to complex business challenges and informing business/scientific decisions.4.Competency in Analytics: Applying mathematics, statistics, predictive modeling, and machine-learning techniques to discover meaningful patterns in data.5.Business Acumen: Understanding the business context and objectives to align data science activities with strategic goals.6.Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide AI-driven solutions .Effectively communicating findings to stakeholders and translating data insights into actionable business recommendations.●Required Qualifications:•Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related quantitative field.•Minimum of 3 years of experience in a data science role post Master’s degree, with a proven track record of successful projects.•Strong expertise in machine learning algorithms, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling.•Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and hands-on experiences with ML and Deep Learning frameworks like scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow.•Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.•Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.•Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide team members.•Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.•

Preferred Qualifications:

•PhD in a relevant quantitative field.•Publications or presentations in recognized Machine Learning and AI conferences or journals.•Experience with cloud computing services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
