Principal DSP Engineer

Summary:

We currently have exciting opportunities for a Principal DSP Engineer.   In this role, you will be contributing to the development of Autonomous/ADAS/AD/HAD/Active Safety Projects.  This position is located at our Indiana Technical Center in Carmel, IN (relocation offered within the USA).

If you have experience in, or a drive to learn technologies such as, Radar, Tracking, ACC, Vehicle Controls, Sensor Fusion, Blind Spot Detection, etc.

Responsibilities:

Lead and develop the DSP(Digital Signal Processing) SW architecture for the Radar sensor to meet functional safety, cybersecurity and other automotive standardsLead the DSP SW design, for Signal Processing and other advanced algorithmsLead the algorithm prototype/simulation with Matlab and validate performancePerform feasibility study, alternate architecture analysis, memory architecture, benchmarking throughput/CPU performance and memory estimation Collaborate with cross-functional teams to rapidly build solutions to resolving critical problems that may arise during the course of the development processPerforms technical root cause analysis and outlines corrective action for given problems. Assist developers with code and design reviewsWorks in an Agile software development environments

Required Qualifications

Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering20+ years of work experience in Embedded or real time SW development, preferably Automotive domainStrong Experience in DSP Software Architecture and algorithm developmentGood experience on multicore microcontrollers, architecture, memory layouts, device drivers, compiler and debuggersExperience with Safety standards(ISO 26262) and implementationStrong experience in embedded C/C++ programming, MatlabHands-on experience in embedded development, testing and debugging toolsExperience with Agile SW development processExcellent communication and presentation skillsEmbedded microprocessor experience (operating systems, I/O drivers, communication drivers, etc.) 

Preferred Qualifications

Embedded development experience in Radar or other perception systemsADAS software development experienceExperience with ASPICE
