Within MITRE’s Intelligence Center, the Adversary Intelligence Department has the mission to provide deep technical and regional analysis on emerging threats to the United States and its interests in support of USG policy, strategy, integrated capabilities, test & evaluation, and resource investments. Our vision is to enable national security policymakers to anticipate and prepare for future adversarial threats by revolutionizing intelligence analysis and capabilities, empowering them to see beyond the horizon and confidently navigate emerging national and global challenges. Roles & Responsibilities:
The Adversary Intelligence Department seeks a Principal Economic Intelligence Integrator for its support to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence’s (ODNI) Office of Economic Security and Emerging Technology. The Department manages, guides, and directs technical and domain-specific work focused on enhancing the nation’s intelligence efforts at the strategic level and providing enterprise-wide solutions to the Intelligence Community’s toughest challenges. The work requires operating at senior-levels of government, including routine coordination and collaboration with the senior national security leaders and departments and agencies. Our efforts directly support the U.S policymaking, acquisition, research & development, and intelligence communities which require comprehensive understanding of the IC, its partners, and stakeholders.
Responsibilities: The Principal Economic Intelligence Integrator will support shaping and building financial and economic capabilities to counter adversarial threats, by enabling and integrating OESET across the techno-economic security space. OESET is a complex work program responsible for driving the techno-economic mission management portfolio. Technical functions include leading, developing and executing whole-of-government, national-level strategies and assessments; socializing and integrating solutions for the techno-economic mission, and engaging in a nascent, highly visible sponsor organization; supporting multi-disciplinary teams; and simultaneously elevating and supporting government managers within the Sponsor organization.
This is an opportunity for you to expand your technical skills while contributing to a distinctive project with cross-cutting IC and greater national security enterprise impact. This position requires initiative, creative leadership, demonstrated mission management experience, and in-depth understanding of the IC, the ODNI, exercise simulation design, and interagency coordination and collaboration.
Basic Qualifications:
Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years’ experience; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.An existing, active TS/SCI clearance with current polygraphExtensive knowledge of the USG’s Economic and Emerging Technology mission space to include research, policies, integration and strategies – especially within ODNI and the greater Intelligence Community, and non-title 50 organizationsSuperior customer engagement and communications skills and experience in sensitive, high-risk customer contextsProven ability to develop and shape work products and recommendations that balance depth with timeliness and technical improvements with programmatic constraints.Experience developing strategies to increase the impact of deliverablesExperience producing assessments and the ability to identify gaps to support USG and US policymakersStrong writing and editing skills including demonstrated ability to articulate complex topics to sponsors and staffThis position has an on-site requirement of 5 days a week on-site.Preferred Qualifications:
